Take home some frozen fish balls from Sheng Wang
Last time I had some hand-pulled noodles, the question was raised in the comments section about whether or not Sheng Wang sells their fishballs frozen. Well, Hungry, the answer is yes! Sheng Wang sells a bag of frozen fish balls for $5 dollars. Each bag contains 22 frozen Fuzhou fish balls that are just as tasty coming out of your freezer as they do at the restaurant. The best part of it is that it's really not that much more expensive than regular fish balls you can purchase at a Chinese supermarket.
It only takes a few minutes of a rolling boil to warm up the fish balls, and then they're good to go. I like mine with a dash of Sriracha. They're a good topping for a bowl of instant ramen, but they're also pretty good just plain. Sheng Wang still sells their dumplings frozen. That's still 50 dumplings for $8 dollars. I know dumplings is a dish people eat for Chinese New Year, and Fuzhou fish balls could definitely be added to any feast.

I swear to god I could live off things that come in bags from Chinatown dumpling shops. That includes MSG.

Totally! Goes well with ramen... mmm...
@Nicholas,
haha, have you seen those giant empty tubs of MSG on the sidewalks in Chinatown? That stuff is epic. Delicious too.

Do you have to thaw fish balls before adding them to soup or can you add frozen ones? If so what's the approx cooking time? Thanks
