Eating a burrito at Qdoba
It's easy to overvalue fast food, I do it all the time. With chains like Qdoba though, it's different. It wasn't around when I was a kid. Without a frame of reference for Mexican food, I really don't know what good burrito is supposed to be. The meat at Qdoba is certainly recognizable though, which is a nice thing. The one I like is the chicken queso burrito, and it's better when you add some guacamole to it. Because guacamole makes everything better. I'm pretty sure that guacamole could even make a spray-tanned guy stop crying on 60 minutes.
If you press me, I'd still pick the burrito at Dos Torros, but they only have one location now. Qdoba is more prevalent in the city. It's something that works in a pinch, and I like it better than Chipotle.
(I invite you to follow me on Twitter so you can get more of my non-sense in another medium.)

I know Qdoba well. One place where I go when I am in the area. Indeed, the Mexican found a great ingredient in the guacamole, so versatile and never fails to be enjoyable.
PS: I do not think that you are actually overvaluing the food. The value of food being of pure personal appreciation, the more you personally like it, the bigger its value.
