Food in Mouth

I dream of sleep haiku

New year, and I still cannot post the haiku post on-time. At least, when I started, it was still Sunday. That has to count for something. Lately it seems like no matter how much sleep is had, it's not enough. Funny how that works. Maybe sleep behaves the same way as nutella. It's never enough. More please. The best part is that I'm writing this when I should be sleeping! Lovely ain't it. The other thing to mention during this post is the obscenely cheap eats at Wah Fung No. 1 Fast Food. It was mentioned on Midtown Lunch last year when Zach was down in Chinatown for jury duty. I've actually been going there for a while, even before they raised the prices to $2.50.

Yea, you read that right, their small roast pork over rice used to be cheaper than $2.50. And it's filling too, so you don't really need to eat much else after you have this. The only downside to Wah Fung No. 1 Fast Food is the pace of the queue. The line moves insanely slow when you go during lunch rush because there's only one dude cutting up the meat and he's the same dude who fetches your change. Yea, that'll gross some of you out, but hey, it's cheap and delicious.

He packs the food in this little aluminum container, and he really packs it in there. When I got home and took the food out of the container, it still retained the rectangular shape. Mmmm... boxy food. I like it.
