Hot chocolate haiku
Are you feeling all holiday-y now? All the special Chrisma-hanau-kwanza-kah feeling that's in the air, and also on Starbucks's annoying playlist is already starting to grate on my nerves. I just want to sit down somewhere warm, drink a hot chocolate without worrying about bad music. Yes, just some hot chocolate in peace and quiet and warmth. This week's haiku is about hot chocolate because it's on my mind. Speaking of sweet things, a couple of weeks ago I wrote about a $10 dollar dessert run for Midtown Lunch. You can go read it and tell me how much I suck.
In the Midtown Lunch post I went to Magnolias for banana pudding, wichcraft for a brioche cinnamon roll, and a donut from Krispy Kreme. It was pretty awesome. I don't actually believe in sugar highs. Does anyone know if that is scientifically proven to be real?
Now that I got all the boring stuff out of the way, I want to make a couple of public service announcements. If you live in New York, every December NY Cares does a coat drive to help homeless people who need clothing. So if you have old and still usable coats, you know what to do. The other and less important announcement is that tonight is Victoria's Secret fashion show. What? It's important.

I don't believe in them either. I think it depends on your genetic makeup and sugar sensitivity.
