Pizza haiku and a giant oreo cookie

You know I just like to do whatever I want, dilly dally here and there. Then freak out about no haiku on Sunday. What do I do? Call the Fed to bail me out?! Things are just easier when someone else does it for you. You know how it is, you come home.. poof! A haiku! I think Justin made this one so mad props there. I just had to change the second line because for some reason it sounded familiar. (Am I running out of words?!) I stare at these magnets too much. Either way, it was nice to come home to a haiku.

Last week when it rained, I walked by Jack's Coffee and had some coffee. This list of the best coffee shops in NYC tipped me off. Since I barely drink the stuff, there's no need to talk about the coffee. The cookie however, is a different story.

It kind of reminded me of the trucker cookie from the Treats Truck I haven't had a trucker cookie but from my experience with the Treats Truck, their cookies are generally not huge. The cookie from Jack's was pretty big. For $2 dollars, it was an average priced cookie for its size. It's probably slightly bigger than my palm. I split half of the cookie with Steph and it's still a decent pre-dinner snack.

As for the taste, I think you probably have to eat it with coffee. If not, it will be too sweet. An enjoyable snack if you happen to be around Jack's, but this is not a destination cookie.

  • Shoot, now I want pizza with olives and mushrooms and maybe some green peppers.. I never get to have any all veggie pizza when we order cause the bf doesn't eat veggies....AT ALL. Wish your haiku came with a picture though! -=D

  • I want some romantic nibbles from the DiFara's guy.
