Food in Mouth

Labor day version of haiku

September always marks the beginning of fall. College football is underway, and right after you cut the grass in the backyard, the weather is cool enough for you to play backyard football. There's nothing like the smell of freshly cut grass. Be that as it may, I still wish summer would last a few more weeks. I still yearn for grilled food, the taste of summer ingredients, and even the sounds of nature. Yes, pumpkin pies, turkeys, and braised food are all around the corner. But I just want a few... more... weeks! This week I got help yet again on a haiku. Seriously, other people just make my job so much easier and more fun. Gotta love it.

super-taste-dumplings

And after the earlier 'serious' post, I figure a haiku is perfect. And also a continuation of my dumplings obsession. The ones at Super Taste are awesome. Packed with chives, they explode with flavor in each bite. To me it almost overshadows how much I love their noodles. Anyway, this obsession will beget another obsession as fall fully envelopes the city. For now though... dumpling obsession is good.
