Haiku and I cannot count

There are many rites of passages in a man's life. Learning to walk is a big one. Learning to ride a bike is a doozy as well. Then you have things like falling in love, getting married, starting a family, blah blah. And then you have things like, "learning that you cannot count late at night while high on caffeine." Pepsi does that to you. Or maybe spiked pepsi does that to you. Who is counting anyway? Regardless of the beverage in hand, sometimes when you need a haiku, you need a haiku, even if it is 4-7-5 and not really a haiku. I am not sure what this rite of passage really means, but apparently it means that I need to count with my fingers elementary school style. Will do a better job next time people, I promise.

papaya

So do you remember all those papaya drinks that I had in the last two weeks? Well I decided to see what a papaya smoothie would taste like. Went out and bought a papaya, halved it, added about four ice cubes and maybe quarter cup of apple juice. Voila! Papaya smoothie! Full of papaya flavor and goodness, it totally beats any papaya drink. It also helps me realize that those papaya drinks out there totally lack a strong papaya taste. Really, I feel a let down. Maybe I should drink more smoothies at home. Do you make smoothies at home?
