Food in Mouth

A day late

You know the thing about posting on Sunday is that if the weather is really nice, you just want to leave the apartment and NOT post. Oops. This has to stop! I need to make an effort to be more on top of it. I was also feeling a little bit lazy, luckily my roommate's boyfriend (Justin, thanks!) came through again with another haiku. This is the great thing about having roommates, because you come home and all of a sudden there is a haiku on the fridge. It is like magic, but more poetic. The apartment is like a refuge for foodie Shakespeares, dusted with iambic pentameter and couplets. Sometimes, we will even make the haikus suitable for little kids (which means I did not write it), and we always have to think about the kids, right?

Along with enjoying the sun, I also checked out a flea market in Ft. Greene. There are all sorts of thing there, like yuppies with baby strollers, and a guy who sells colorful sneakers! And I also saw dogs this past weekend. Look, one of the dog has a wheel thingy. Is that a doggy wheelchair? He is definitely a trooper.

  • I wonder if that's the same dog that I used to see in Washington Square Park all the time. It's funny/sad when their bellies are so large that they need a canopy to carry it.

  • them shoes are hotttttt. i want me some vintage nikes lolz. hope they aren't bootlegs

  • Ang,
I thought the dog just need the wheels for his legs... not for his belly. Who knows? It is a good look though.

    Steve,
How did I know you would comment about the shoes? haha. Yo, remind me to send you the link about what to eat in Nolensville.
