Chocolate cookie with oatmeal
You know how when you buy oatmeal there's always a recipe for oatmeal raisin cookies on the box? Well what if instead of raisins you use chocolates. And instead of Oatmeal raisin cookies, you make chocolate oatmeal cookies. See, it's chocolate cookie with oatmeal instead of an oatmeal chocolate cookie because after I change the recipe, it has more chocolate than oatmeal... of course that's not really a problem if you like chocolate and it's not really a problem with me.
After I use up all the leftover oatmeal, I really want to try and replicate the City Bakery cookie. Anyone know where to find their recipe? Or anyone know someone who has successfully replicated their recipe?
I actually made these cookies around midnight. This was the second time that I've done something like that. If you try making cookies around midnight on a week night... then you will probably not want to go to work the next day. However, if you do it on a Saturday night, you'll feel like a loser. And then you'll have to try to wear some special deodorant to see if you can get some swagger. Maybe that won't help me though since I don't play for the Bears.
Right, and it's Sunday so time to go make a haiku...

(I invite you to follow me on Twitter so you can get more of my non-sense in another medium.)

Hey, you didn't say if the cookies were any good. Do tell. Inquiring minds want to know.

They're soft and full of chocolates. :P I think there are better cookies out there but they can't be beat when you eat it for breakfast!

My grandmother has been making oatmeal chocolate chip cookies since I was a kid. No one has been able to even come close to their wonderous heavenly tastes (even with her recipe). Hopefully yours were good. They're my favorite.
