Roasted vegetables and pasta
Sometimes the title of my bothers me because it sounds so much like foot in mouth. This morning though, I woke up to the news of hep A at Socialista. No matter what my blog sounds like, it will never get confused with FECAL matters in mouth. Goodness gracious. That bartender needs to relax, internet videos are just that, do not go out and actually eat it from a cup. Jeebus. Oh right food blog. Last week I was also on a roasted vegetable kick because it was super easy and tasted alright. My favorite combo was eggplants and zucchinis with a soy-chili sauce. Mmmmm...
All I did was take a mini eggplant, slice it up and put some olive oil on it. Then take a zucchini, slice it up, and put olive oil on it. 400 degrees until it smells good or until it looks soft. Can you tell I am very scientific about this? Salt and pepper are not such a big deal since I add soy sauce to it afterwards.
Go easy with the Korean chili paste because that thing is flamming hot and it is no joke. Half a teaspoon and it should offer a decent kick to the vegetables. You can add some pasta if you want, and in this instance I added some rigatoni, but you could just eat roasted vegetables with soy sauce. Then when you are done feeling healthy, eat some pretzels to get full.
And in non-food news, dear russian spam bot, please stop commenting on my blog, pleeeeeease? Sure, I can block your ip addresses, and have done so twice already, but come on! Oh and how about this real snow that finally came to New York?! Wow, you know it is bad when I am talking about spam bots and snow on a food blog. Speaking of spam, it is delicious and I will make a spam post at some point. Go forth and frolic in the snow kids.
(I invite you to follow me on Twitter so you can get more of my non-sense in another medium.)

"roasted veges and pasta" looks delicious. I like the title of "food in mouth". It's easy and simple. And simple is beauty
